ERDBA HALL OF FAME

Honoring our past, inspiring our future.

The Eastern Regional Dragon Boat Association Hall of Fame was established in 2025 by the Association's officers to recognize and celebrate those who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to the sport of dragon boating within our region.  Inductees may be athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, or leaders who have demonstrated excellence, advanced the growth of the sport and embodied the values of teamwork, community and integrity. By preserving the legacies of these contributors, the Hall of Fame not only honors our past but also inspires current and future members to carry forward the spirit of dragon boating.
2025
We are proud to announce the 2025 inaugural inductee into the ERDBA Hall of Fame:  Mr. Chun Wing Louie of the NY Wall Street Dragons.  Mr. Louie was selected by the 2025 Hall of Fame Selection Committee, which was comprised of past ERDBA Presidents together with the current Executive Committee. His induction recognizes his outstanding contributions to the growth, leadership, and spirit of dragon boating in our region. Mr. Louie was honored as the inaugural inductee into the ERDBA Hall of Fame at the 2025 ERDBA Regional Championships.  In recognition of this achievement, a commemorative coin was present to Eugene Wong on Mr. Louie's behalf, as he was unable to attend the ceremony.  A Hall of Fame dinner will be planned in 2026 to celebrate this milestone. Details on the date and location will be posted here once finalized. We look forward to welcoming the community to join us in honoring Mr. Louie.
