Tryouts & Training Camps
Interested athletes required to complete an interest form and submit it to the USDBF online. Candidates attending a Team USA Tryout must complete a liability waiver (PDF) and submit to relevant coach at tryouts. -- TAMPA USA Premier and Senior B Team Camp 2017 When: Core camp is Mon-Sat, April 10-15; two practices a day. We will have a PM practice 4/9 and AM 4/15 which will be optional for those who get in early or can stay until Saturday. You can come for part of it if cannot make whole week. Where: Chase Suites Tampa, Rocky Point. Fly into Tampa. Who: Team USA coaches for Premier Open (Bob McNamara), Premier Mixed (Randy Ng and Colleen McNamara) and Senior B Open and Mixed (Peter McNamara) will be present. Costs: The camp is free for all fully paid Philly DBA members and prior US team members going out for Premier and Senior B. The fee for other team USA candidates will be determined by the coaching staff but will not exceed $100. A parallel camp held for other paddlers will be coached by Bob McNamara, those paddlers will need to sign up via High Five at: http://www.highfivedragonboat.com/camps.html If interested contact Bob McNamara ([email protected]) for details and eligibility with other coaches.
