At the 4/3/21 AGM, Directors approved rolling over the 2020 adjustments to regional qualifications for 2021 regionals. The original 4/18/20 AGM motion read, " to allow any team that qualified for regionals in 2019 should be considered qualified for 2020 OR if the team participates in one ERDBA event this year." And accepted a friendly amendment, "to allow any team participate in the Regionals in the event there are no races for the teams to participate in 2020 and if ERDBA does not have any member races prior to Aug then all ERDBA, members are eligible".
Therefore, all teams/clubs that qualified for 2019 ERDBA regionals are qualified for 2021 Regional championships (These clubs are:Against the Wind, Boston One, Bucks Co DBC, Catch 22, Cooper River DBC, CYPN Storm, DBT, DCDBC, DCH DBC, Dragon Heart Vermont, Empire DBC, Hope Afloat, Ithaca Gorges Dragons, Living Root DBC, MSK Dragons, NCAWPA, Paradise City Dragon Boat, Pennsylvania DBC, Philadelphia Flying Phoenix, Schuylkill Dragons, Wellness Warriors).
Qualification for 2021 Regionals may also be acquired by having 1 team within a club "participate" at 1 ERDBA event. IF there are NO ERDBA festivals able to run prior to August, then NO qualifications required for ERDBA teams to participate in the 2021 ERDBA Regional Championships. The original 4/18/20 motion describes "participates in one ERDBA event this year". Although "participate" was not defined at the 2020 AGM, it will be accepted that "Participate" can be accepted as any team within a club entering an ERDBA sanctioned event or hosting an ERDBA sanctioned event and that the normal "qualification guidelines" are not required for this year.
Individual USDBF membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate in ERDBA Regional Championships.
