SAFESPORT
Training |
and ERDBA is the first in the US! The ERDBA Board of Directors approved funding each team with SafeSport training in each year since 2018. This funding is for up to 2 individuals from each ERDBA member and any chairs or officers that represent ERDBA. US Center for Safesport.org provides to ERDBA the same training program offered to all 49 TEAM USA Olympic National Governing Bodies! It's become the industry standard for online training for sports through a 3 module training that espouses the principles of protecting and helping athletes through education and awareness. Although focused on youth athletes, these learnings are easily transferable to adults. YOUTH RACE Funding
|
25% Funding Youth teams in ERDBA races - The ERDBA Board of Directors approved limited funding for discounting youth teams of ERDBA clubs up to 25% of the entry fee into ERDBA Festivals. For the purpose of qualifying for this funding - a Youth team is defined as an ERDBA member with a minimum of 14 paddlers in the boat who are under 24 . Since 2019 this program agrees to sponsors up to 2 youth teams from each ERDBA club at each event. Several ERDBA festivals agreed to MATCH our funding, resulting in 50% savings to these youth teams.
50% Funding Youth teams in ERDBA Regional Championships - The ERDBA Board of Directors approved limited funding for youth teams of ERDBA clubs up to 50% of the entry fee into ERDBA 2020 Regional championships. For the purpose of qualifying for this funding - a Youth team is defined as an ERDBA member with a minimum of 14 paddlers in the boat who are under 24 . GWN agreed to 25% subsidy, resulting in 75% savings of the Regional Entry fee to these youth teams. Contact the Treasurer, via on the ERDBA contact form with your team(s) name and event name/date. |

STEERER Training
|
ERDBA Directors approved funding these training sessions around ERDBA. ERDBA members may attend scheduled steering clinics in our region. Post on ERDBA contact form if you want to HOST this event. Info about scheduled sessions posted home page and facebook. Clinicians are volunteers, their travel and meals are covered by ERDBA.

COACH Training

ERDBA members can scheduled coaching seminars at your site. We will share tools on HOW to coach (not WHAT to coach) using current industry standards. Session includes discussion between attendees.

USDBF Race Officials Training
|
ERDBA Directors approved funding for members have an opportunity to attend a USDBF race official clinic. USDBF Online Clinic fee of $95 is waived for the first 10 individuals representing ERDBA members. Post your interest in attending this a race official clinic on our ERDBA contact form to secure funding once confirmed you are among 1st 10.
