Benefits of an ERDBA membership

ERDBA Club and Festival members in good standing have access to these member benefits.

  • Membership Period = January 1 - December 31.  (Membership application HERE)
  • One seat on the ERDBA Board of Directors with one (1) voting right.
  • Your club is eligible to participate in ERDBA/USDBF sanctioned events
    • USDBF Club Crew National Championships
    • IDBF Club Crew Pan American Championships
    • IDBF Club Crew World Championships (if qualified through USDBF Nationals bid process)
    • ERDBA Regional Club Crew Championships
  • Access to USDBF club/festival insurance programs  (Important info about USDBF insurance coverage HERE)
  • Members of your club / festival may participate for free in ERDBA sponsored events.
    • One of 2-3 ERDBA Steering Clinics (contact VP if interested in serving as host or participating)
    • One of ERDBA Coaching Seminars (contact VP if interested in serving as host participating)
    • USDBF race official's clinic in ERDBA if one of 1st 10 signups (contact VP) 
    • SafeSport Training for 2 members from each club/festival
    • Youth may attend our ERDBA youth paddling clinic
  • Access to Subsidies and discounts
    • Youth teams from ERDBA members, receive ERDBA subsidy in competing in ERDBA events. This subsidy is equal to 25% of the entry fee. Most ERDBA events will match our subsidy (look for the "YS" on the ERDBA Festival website). Total Annual cap = $3000
    • Youth teams from ERDBA members, receive a 50% subsidy in competing in ERDBA Regional Championships. qualifying rules do not apply to youth teams. Total Annual cap = $3000.

    • Access to the ERDBA discount for selected DB equipment
  • Access to ERDBA resources
    • Access to our Ambassador program (or complete a comment form) either as a participant or resource.
    • Access to the ERDBA Directors' Facebook page to promote your club events or activities.
