ERDBA officers created an Orientation program for individuals about to serve on USDBF committee, or to chair an ERDBA committee or to serve as an ERDBA Officer

  • FEE:  FREE for ERDBA member clubs

  • Cancelled if fewer than 4 candidates
Tentative Schedule
  • Schedule
    • 9:30 - 3:30PM - sign waiver, intros, water instruction
    • 10AM-11:15 - on water with 6 candidates and 8 volunteer paddlers (they may talk all day, no coaching for paddlers).
    • 11:20-11:30 - debrief and review of experience.
    • Noon - next group of steering candidates
    • 2PM - final group of steering candidates.
Program goals
  • Clinic goal:  
    • This is more of a practical run thru for candidates.
    • Beginner: provide tools enable the candidate to feel a little more control, and how to manage the crew to what they can handle
    • Intermediate: provide tools to help steer races
    • Advanced: test candidate with spacial awareness and ability to problem solve.
